Honestly, I can't recommend the game. The story is generic, but it's somewhat entertaining hearing the AI attempt to voice characters. The gacha system is horrendous, though. I never thought I'd see a pity worse than FGO. 500 hard pity that doesn't carry over through banners. It's around $40 for a ten pull, and once you run out of the free gems, it's a long crawl to build up more. The game is built to advertise a webcomic and take your cash with the generic characters in the story.

My favorite part is the character choosing screen and the music. I love the jazz! But I'm pretty sure most of the content is AI and bad AI at that, which is very unfortunate. (correct if I'm wrong) The voice actors are pretty good. But the execution of dialog is a bit off. It doesn't flow and sounds really awkward. I was glad to see you could read it as a comic instead of hearing it. If they get rid of the AI and fix the dialog, it would be more enjoyable.

When I signed up for the prerelease, it was because of the art, and the supposedly talented musician behind the game. I also noted it was by the people who made Evertale, which seems to do well. I havent looked into the music, but when I was greeted with AI in the first cutscene, that was enough for me to not even try. I got this game to see the art, and I just feel deceived.
