Really bare bones controls. You can set hourly limits on a console, and you can set an alarm for bedtime, and you can see a general idea of how much of each game was played each day, but that's it. It's unclear how well these settings work. For example, I set bedtime at 8pm, but when I look at the time played, it has red text saying the game was played past the set time. It doesn't say when the hours happened, so I can't know if she went over by five seconds or somehow kept playing for an hour.

The schedule is nice, and I like controls on chat, though I would like inner game chat control. I've had trouble with some people reaching out to my kids and had to stop all chat and/or stopped using the game. It needs a way to request more time and you should be able to set 0 min time settings (not 15 min). The morning start time should allow a longer time. in gact, I should be able to lock down to a single hour in the day if desired. Im all for video games, but they can really be problems for

I like the feature that lets you see historical usage over time. However if you have multiple users that share a console and each play single player games, and you want to create time limits for each of them, you simply can't. There is no way to do this currently in the app or on the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls website. Then on top of that, the "Extend Playtime" option gives weird options for the amount of time to extend by, and you can't just type a number in. That's super lame.
