Edit: downgrading to 1 star because the app continues to show ads that block you from using it for several seconds. This is completely unacceptable. It's a fine enough app that works for toggling the noise cancellation and changing what the controls do. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because it has started showing popup ads for other Soundcore products about once a month for a couple of days in a row, blocking access to the app for several seconds. This is unacceptable.

this app is really good. I love the soundcore earbuds, they have great noise canceling and the sound tuning personalization is a really cool feature. The earbuds have a great battery life and they are overall really good for everyday use. I do have one complaint though, and it is pretty important in my opinion. This app and earbuds are missing a "find my earbuds" feature. Earbuds and the case can get lost very easily, and a noise activated beep from the app can save a ton of time.

Basic functionality is ok, but there are some annoying settings. Certain basic functions are disabled until you create and log in with an account "to protect your privacy" where there is absolutely no reason to do so. LOL OK liars. Also can't adjust headpohone settings without being connected to that device. Why can't I edit offline and then just push the changes next time i connect? Again absolutely zero legitimate reason.
