Ive had this for a couple years now and cuss it every time I use it. Its hard to connect at times. The alarm feature won't work if your phone is on lock screen, so it does no good for an overnight cook. The graph data stopped working. 2 of the 4 probes have stopped working. This whole system needs a major update and that doesn't seem to be happening.

At the moment I'm REALLY disappointed in the app. The thermometer itself seems great and the app connected very easily but then the temperature just freezes. I look on thermometer and it says (let's say) 30' but the app hasn't moved since 22'. It's happened on every cook so far (four times) Totally unreliable if you are relying on the app to see when food is cooked. Only way to check is close the app fully down and reboot. But the problem then is you lose any graph data and it's no gud for alarm

Have used this a few times now and find it accurate and really helpful to reduce need for checking. I have not yet found if I can turn on an audio alarm on my phone when target temperature is reached. It does show a visual alert, which is good. There is also and audio alarm on the device - not very loud but good if within 10m or so of the BBQ. Good to have separate settings for the 2 remote probes enabling different foods to be monitored at the same time. Very useful product.
