About this game

Two ways to use the app:

-The Companion assists you while you play the tabletop card game, Regicide. Easily track enemy health and attack. See at a glance which enemies you've defeated and which are upcoming. It supports combos and animal companions and even reminds you of the legal options for all combinations.

-You can play the single player version of Regicide directly inside the app - no physical cards required! Solo play is unlocked by a one-off in-app purchase. Have fun and see if you can attain that elusive Gold Victory!

See badgersfrommars.com for full rules on how to play Regicide - a challenging cooperative card game for 1 - 4 players!

I found this game today! I was looking for a cooperative game to play with my kids. We've played several rounds, haven't beat it yet, but are having fun trying. It took a while for the rules to set it. A few suggestions for the dev team around the companion app is to add a few more suggestions around game play, such as moving a royal to discard or deck when defeated. I'd also like to see the suit reminders pop up longer.

I bought this for the solo mode more than for the companion app but I likely will be using that too when playing with friends soon enough. It's an interesting game, I love solo and co-ops and I'm amazed that some people still manage to invent new games with nothing but a standard deck of cards and gain so much traction. For that reason alone I'm getting a copy of the physical game, to support the creators and add to my deck collection as the art is pretty cool. Very hard game to beat though 😮‍

The app is great when playing solo on the go (without the physical cards) and I find myself booting up the game very regularly. Once you get the hang of it, it only takes a few minutes to play a game. As a companion app to the physical version it's a bit lackluster. It would help if the game displayed more clearly what to do during the defense phase, e.g. that you select which cards you're discarding to block an attack. Otherwise, it's rather easy to make mistakes.
