I've had the Boom 3's and the app for several years. The app periodically drops out, the app incorrectly identifies one speaker as another and it sometimes requires a reset. The app does not consistently work properly, it's not rocket science and I'm not happy with the app. I'm currently exploring replacement options for both the speakers and the app.

Meh. The app feels like it only works when it wants to. Sometimes it's great and lets you connect other speakers and adjust EQ. Other times it's impossible to remotely turn on the speaker or change Bluetooth devices 1 and 2. idk. it's ok. works enough for me to not be super upset. I've always been a UE speaker person, but probably going JBL after the weird Hyperboom problems I constantly experience.

The speaker works great, sound quality is impeccable. One star because I can't figure out how to stop the speaker from interrupting my music or video content at the beginning, telling me to make sure the app is running and can access the Internet. Doesn't matter if the app is open and able to access the Internet, I will get interrupted at every start up. Please tell me there is a way to turn it off! Old UE Boom never did this... Make it stop!!!
