I like the option to be able to send my son money... but the this transaction is considered a cash advance on my credit card. and the nearly $7 fee is fine but my credit card company charges me a cash advance interest rate rather than a transaction rate. Is there anyway to fix this issue? I send funds to another relative through a different app and they do not charge me any extra fees.

sometimes it'll work or sometimes it'll give me an error about security even though I've been using the same card and sending money to the same person. it's frustrating it's kind of like it hit or miss especially when you're trying to get it in before 3:00 so that your family member can make their store. I remind myself that they are incarcerated so they should not be comfortable but anyway...

I used a card before and it stopped working, used a different one from a different bank and it works. the price is high for sending money, 9$ basically and probably separate from western union fees but I hear the inmate family member has to pay a fee to take out the money, maybe the prison company related is the issue but to many fees. But it still is convenient to send through an app though.
