Edit: they added a back up and restore which is great, but now the app has issues opening. and yes, I tried uninstall and reinstall. it's not helping. it keeps force closing. again. at this point it's not worth it to keep trying. the app has been great, but now keeps force closing. I contacted Phillips and the only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall it.. however if you do this, you lose all progress. my son is over 700 brushings. There needs to be a way to back up and restore data.

Apologies for the crashing issue, Angie. We're working on a fix that should be released next week. we loved that app tremendously, but now it wouldn't update the streak challenge count or show less days than we actually have, while the calendar shows everything correctly. and there's no way to make it update the scores. the only way I found was to install the app on another phone and log in, and then the original phone magically updated the count. When you restore the data, you have to loop through all achievements and presents you ever got, this is ridiculous. the fix was promised in 2025

Sorry — that’s frustrating. Quick summary & actions:
1. Issue: Streak counts don’t update (calendar OK). Temporary fix: sign in on another device forces refresh.
2. Try: log out/in, update/reinstall app, or clear cache.
3. Workaround: use the second‑device sign‑in when counts go stale.

won't load. was working great for about a year, then a couple of weeks ago, it won't load my kids profile. Just crashes the app. have uninstalled and reinstalled and still crashing. works on a different phone, but not mine. (update - it's been 2 months and still no fix, now 3 months, absolutely useless and so incredibly frustrating to my kid. unistalling)

We're working on a fix for the crashing issue. It will be released as soon as possible. After the fix is implemented, enable the backup and restore feature, to at least keep record of your child's progress and to be able to grant brushing credit.
