There's a lot to love and hate about this game. The gameplay, character/cosmetic designs, animations, and crossovers are all pretty great. However, banners come out too fast. Rates are terrible. So you're always spending a ton of gems per banner, just to pull the new OP unit even once. It can get very expensive, very quick, in order to keep up with the meta units/teams. Been playing for years. It's a very fun game, but almost feels like you're forced to spend money just to stay competitive...

Hello, here is my updated review of the game. I'm not going to sugarcoat it: this game is very pay-to-win heavy. This means you have to keep up with all the festivals, collaborations, cosmetics (which give stats), gear, and upgrading your units. This is a very grind-heavy game; half of the progression is pay-oriented. Yet again, it's not impossible, but the new player experience and fall-off rate are largely because pay options aren't embellishments; they're an endgame essential.

It's a great game, could play it for hours even, but there are a few problems involving the audio for me. The game will often have lag times when loading the selections you make from the menu and, say for example, when I click the "back" button from the character customization, the audio cuts off completely, likely due to the lag making the audio break or something. The problem is fixed when I restart the game, but doing so constantly to run into the same problem is a hassle.
