Just paired this with a floor lamp I bought for my gaming area. First time I've downloaded a controller app, and I'm very happy. I was able to streamline all the RGB lighting I have in the same area. I usually do solid colors or a slow fade, so I'm not too worried about it syncing to music, but if my old arse can figure out how to use it, anyone can.

This app used to be great, but since the latest update, neither of my lamps will connect. They both show up, but say (not connected). I've restarted them, the app, and my phone, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but nothing works. The link icon does nothing when I touch it, so there's no way to tell it to reconnect. Thankfully the remote still works, because the app is useless now. My other phone with an older version also still works fine. It seems like the update broke something

Works, but questionable. There is no reason for this app to be granted almost unlimited access to location, notifications, and device functions to operate... it needs basic communication via bluetooth or network - nothing more. It's a bit of a resource hog, and God knows what other junk it's going to sideload. Buy a cheap noname android tablet, and sandbox this app on something that isn't use critical and doesn't have personal data on it.
