Hop into the sandals of a gladiator and fight for glory in epic arena battles. Now with cross-platform realtime online multiplayer 1vs1 battles!
Gladihoppers is a wacky 2d physics gladiator battle simulator where the mix of the 2d physics and regular 2d animation offers a fun and original gameplay quite unlike your average gladiator mobile game. The combat system features two different battle stances for your gladiator, each with their own directional attacks of varying power and speed that allow for more dynamic and interesting battles.
In addition to melee attacks there are also javelins to throw and over 90 items to customize your gladiator with; swords, axes, maces, shields, helmets, armor, pants, gloves and shoes.
Gladihoppers blends retro pixel art 2d sprites with 3d low poly environments to bring you a unique looking style and stunning visuals that provide an immersive gladiator experience.

This game is extremely fun, the combat and different game modes are fun and are different enough to spice up the gameplay. However the only issue I have is the controls are not customizable enough. You can switch between swipe controlls and buttons, however the buttons are far to small and the swipe controlls are very inconsistent and confusing. If the buttons could be customized like Brawlhalla then this game would be almost perfect.

I want to like this. It could be good. So inconsistent. After halfway through the campaign, the bot opponent literally just sprints at you and shoves you into the corner and spam swings and lands every hit while you don't land a single hit. Doesn't matter if you punch, try blocking, how good your stats are, or how leveled up your workers are. Such a bummer. edit: tried to stick it out, max out my workers, upgrade my gear and stats equally, but this is not hard in a rewarding way at all. 2* to 1

5 Stars! This game is just great. You have to actually use your brain for your upgrades, and while your in battle you can't just spam, you have to actually time your attacks (Mainly is the later arenas) There's so many secret names, the game is replayable, the game is actually quite difficult at times, which I like but I can see why other people might not like it. Over all this game is just great, and there is so much more that I didn't include that is great about this game.
