I received my Bluetooth thermometer as a Christmas gift and have used it a LOT in 3 years. I wore out the battery in my first one & contacted the company about it. After answering some questions & showing them short videos of what it was doing, and how it wouldn't hold a charge, they sent me a replacement. Free of charge. Sometimes the app in my phone will glitch. But, the product itself is fantastic! As is the customer service! I use mine nearly every weekend!

Not a fan of the Feb app update. very hard to figure out. old app had meat type and sub menus to get you where you need to go and what to do to prepare your food. I had to plan my meal from history, which is silly as this deletes in time. bring back meat selections, sub menu, where to place probe picture and so on!

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. The new app update still has the meat type and sub menus; they are just under Presets, which is next to Manual. All the instructions, including where to place the probes have been kept as well. Hope this helps, and we're working to make this even more intuitive moving forward too!

Poor quality software. not thoroughly tested. My experience: installed app, created account which is required for some unstated reason, app would not connect to the thermometer device. Reached out to the support team - waited 1 week+ and didn't hear back. Returned item as inoperative for refund. Finally heard back from tech support a few days after returned but too late. Caveat emptor - would not even try another IQ Chef product. BTw, was also put off by the data sharing requirements.
