Travelers believes in making sure our customers understand the value of safe driving. IntelliDrive® is a program for Travelers auto insurance customers. This app will measure your driving for 90 days and provide updated driving performance and feedback after each trip. Your auto policy will be rated at renewal based on obtaining sufficient driving information from the app. There are just a few steps to get the app set up, and then it will run in the background.

This app assesses my driving skills over a 90 day, 500 mile (or more) period of time. It checks for things like speed, hard braking and distractions. I don't know exactly how it does it but runs in the background on my phone and it knows and keeps track of each trio I make and it also keeps track of the time of day the trip was made. So far it seems to work well. My car insurance might come down a little bit at renewal if I do well on the assessment.

difficulty installing. recording information inaccurately. receive message saying I completed the intellidrive. then received a message saying they couldn't track my miles because I wasn't active. then I had to call travelers again. then I had to reinstall it again. couldn't get it installed on my husband's phone at all for a while because of inaccurate information. it's not nice. I'm not sure it's worth the discount. 😔

Very intrusive, has to run all the time in the background. Even wheb set to unrestricted battery use, and all other options set to make sure it does record all drives (have enough battery life left, enough memory available), it still fails to record most of the drives. Also not sure what kind of map it uses, but even staying within city limits, it says part of the drive was in the adjacent city when it wasn't. The app needs improvement.
