About this game

Afterplace is an adventurous indie game for mobile devices. It's a huge open world, full of hidden secrets, treasures, and creatures. You'll run around the woods, fight monsters, and talk to ostensibly shady characters! All from your pocket! Be warned though - you never know what the forest might be hiding. Not all trails are paved. Labyrinths and dungeons are tucked away in the most concealed nooks. There are no waypoints in Afterplace. You'll have to forge your own path.

Afterplace has been designed from the ground up to be a fast, fluid, beautiful experience for mobile. There are no virtual buttons. You can move and attack by touching anywhere. You can tap objects directly to interact or attack, use two thumbs like a traditional controller, or control the game with a physical gamepad. The game will adapt dynamically to your play style. Pick up and set down the game at your own pace, it will always save your progress. Afterplace is made to feel like a full-fledged indie adventure game that fits in your pocket.

Simple adventure game, the touch control is a bit wonky, hard to time a dodge roll with it, thankfully combat is easy enough I can just make do without rolling at all. Also the best ending isn't difficult to get is a plus, nothing in game requires googling to figure out, I enjoy games that aren't overly complicated. Overall can recommend lol.

Simply Excellent. I don't play much on mobile, but this game is so well designed and thought out, that it works perfectly. I prefer a real controller when playing games in general (this one does support that too) but it was very playable and great to play with just touch. kudos to the developer. Cleverly written, this should be a must buy for any top-down rpg fan.

Afterplace is hands down the best game I have played this year, in fact it's one of the best games I've played in a long time. To only have a 1000+ downloads is a tragedy, it should be well over a million by now. It has that old-school NES/SNES Zelda style gameplay, and then there's the story and the dialogue, OMG play this game. Developers should be throwing money at this man's feet for the dialogue alone. Why are you still reading this...you should have already started playing by now.
