Access Permissions:
The following access permissions are required for the SmartHome (formerly MSmartHome) app to provide necessary services. If you do not allow them, you can still use the app except for the related services.
- Bluetooth: Find and connect to nearby devices via Bluetooth or BLE.
- Location: Detect home WLAN network information to add device. Check your location to automate actions when location changes. Search for local weather information in "Scene" function.
- Camera: Scan QR codes to add device. Upload photo to report a repair or feedback.
- Album: Scan saved QR codes. Edit your profile photo. Upload a photo to report a repair or feedback.

Ever since the last update my indoor temperature is not accurate. This is triggering a daily error, 'Your device Air Conditioner is set to a mode that may not be appropriate for the existing indoor and outdoor temperatures.' It makes the Auto mode useless but when I try to just set it to cool, this error is triggering. One night it kept recording a temp of 60 and wouldn't turning despite it being 72 I my room. It seems it is using the outside temp +/- a few degrees to determine inside temp

This app has only gotten worse since first installing it. The app itself is slow to start, but functional. The smart home integration however desperately needs updating to bring features back to Google Home that existed previously and are now missing. We can no longer adjust temperature with voice assistant, and the AC unit is frequently reported to be in "eco mode", when that it's not a mode available on the physical unit or remote.

Worked great last summer. Now I'm being forced to make an unnecessary account to access basic functionality. Also AI sloptastic. so annoying. Just let me use the product I bought how I want. Edit: I couldn't have asked for a worse response. At best it's a copy paste from an underpaid employee. Realistically it's a canned AI response. I wish I could go to zero stars. I uninstalled this garbage and am trying to use the terrible included remote. Just gotta get up and push the buttons myself.
