Moto Tag

So a few things on this. The app isn't terrible. It's used to update the tags and can also use it for the basic find my device features. That being said, it would be nice not to have an extra app since these are supposed to function as Find My Device hardware. Also, having to wait for gated app rollouts to be able to update your tags with the latest features, just doesn't feel good. The UWB update has been touted, but you cannot get it unless you have the latest app version. Allow opt in.

For me, the tags have worked great and I love the fact that their form factor is compatible with so many accessories. I had some trouble getting Ultra Wideband working and tried everything I could think of to get it working on the tag. But it turns out it was of no fault of the tag or the Moto Tag app at all and it really was the Find Hub app. After uninstalling the Find Hub app and reinstalling and then restarting the phone, it started working correctly.

rubbish. stops ringing your phone. the app goes back to the set up screens but won't find your tag although it's still working with Google find device. have to disconnect from Google and reset and start again then repeat the whole process when it happens again.
