I love how cute this is BUT the calorie count is way off. I have used other apps to track calories that I know are very close in accuracy and with just 2 meals I see that BitePal is almost half the actual calorie count. So in order to meet goals to get rewards I would have to lie about what I'm actually eating. There needs to be a way for people to put in calories for each type of food to create a more accurate tracking system.

cute, but totally not functional. VERY difficult to use. ai pic not functional. cannot add fractions, which means you have to eat ALL of any items logged. this is nonsensical. also cannot edit food. how do ppl use this. also it's very glitchy. added 4 foods today; 3 foods are logged in a different day yet days ago. when you click on it, only one food shows up.

This is the first AI-based app for food tracking that is easy to use and pretty accurate. I like that you can edit the ingredients. Some things that would make this app absolutely amazing: the ability to edit the calories (sometimes I know the exact amount of calories of a food), a way to add weight or even workouts, and/or mood/hunger level. That would be great for emotional eaters for sure.
