Most functions on this work well. You can access modules you can't get to with some of the cheap standalone OBD tools. However, I have three Hondas and have tried to do ABS modulator bleeds on them. This function is broken and never stops bleeding. I put a liter of fluid through my brake system and the tool doesn't know when to stop and won't let you advance to the other wheels to finish the job. it's the only reason I renewed and it's frustrating it doesn't work.

Bought this a little over a year ago. Came highly recommended. I really liked using it especially since its bidirectional. used it at least a dozen times. Needed it here recently and it now requires a subscription! I specifically got it because it was advertised to not need one. Everyone I spoke to didn't need one. Now you have to pay $129 per year to do anything more than the extreme basics. A free scan at Autozone will give you more. Its cheaper to just buy a new one! Will not recommend.

Hello, Topscan comes with a complimentary one-year software upgrade. After this period, access to diagnostic software will require a paid subscription. We understand your concern about the cost, but this is also to maintain the progressiveness and compatibility of the software. For expiration, we now have a three-day extension of free usage time.

Used it to effect to fix issues I had earlier in the year, now requires a subscription randomly. No warning, just took away all the functionality. This is now a scam. Edit for response: Not the point. I got this as a gift from a family member since I do my own vehicle maintenance when I can. A subscription is quite predatory when there was ZERO WARNING. I had an engine code come on so I popped it in only to be told functionality was removed?
