third update: i have used this app a lot for two different sites. it's really frustrating to use all the way around. Stream stuttering, 4K playback still has issues, event filters don't work, alarm profile operation is inscrutable, etc etc. Also just discovered it uses a LOT of battery power, which is a clue that there's probably some optimization needed. Fully aware that some of this could be due to my phone, but phone is a brand new Android.

App works good, you can see previous videos and what's taken place. Only complaint is that you can't choose a personal notification sound, your stuck with the default that sounds like a lot of other apps, so much for a good warning that an unwanted person may be at your home. Even Eufy has a list of sounds to choose from, even different ones for different cameras! This is just a software issue that should be easy to accomplish!

I bought $10k+ worth of UniFi gear at 3 houses: doorbells, cameras, switches, etc. My biggest pet peeve in the whole system, is that when someone rings the doorbell, the app doesn't even indicate WHICH house is ringing. I don't want to pick up doorbell rings at one of my houses (because it's an Airbnb). The app just pops up a screen with the green/red buttons to accept/decline the call. I'm forced to pick up, to see the video feed, then quickly hang up if it's the house I wanted to ignore...
