VIZIO Crave Speakers cannot output audio from TVs/displays or be connected as an additional channel to an existing sound bar or sound system. Additional supported SmartCast or Chromecast-enabled audio products are required (not included) for Multi-Room feature. Streaming different songs to different speakers at the same time is not supported when using a single app running on a single mobile device. To stream a different song to different speakers at the same time, you’ll need to stream from a different app or a separate mobile device.

They removed functionality inside the app in this newest update. I used to adjust brightness down from another room on my son's TV at night and set sleep timer. I can't do this anymore. Bring that feature back! If I wanted to look at the TV when adjusting it, I'd just use the TV remote! Maybe try trialing a setting like this before forcing it on everyone. And your response? I uninstalled and went with a 3rd party remote that does what you took away. I'll pay them before using you again.

previously this app used to allow you to use the TV menu on your phone instead of actually having to use your phone like a remote. it was so much easier to change settings when they appeared on your cell phone screen versus having to stare at the TV and push the corresponding buttons on the phone. I ended up using an older version of the app for quite a while until tonight I decided to set the timer on my TV and when I open the app it would not allow me to do anything other than upgrade the app

I have an older Vizio tv. Of course no big features like wifi are accessible on the remote, only on the app. Ok, dealt with that when it was new and thats fine. I had to change some information and reset the tv. Now I cant get through setup because of pairing errors. The legacy pairing portion of the app is a joke. I'm never buying another Vizio device, and I'll make sure anyone who asks me is steered away. Hiding basic functions to steer users into your app is just forced data harvesting.
