I'm unable to connect to the receiver with WiFi. Both Bluetooth connections are successful, but when I try to connect it to WiFi, it starts to, displays a text box on the receiver briefly (which disappears after 3 or 4 seconds), and then the app closes on my Android phone. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting my phone, deleting Bluetooth and WiFi settings etc. I just can't get it to connect to WiFi no matter what I try

The first time you connect PxLink to a receiver, you will need to turn off Android Auto.
Instructions on how to turn off Android Auto are available on the following web help site:

I was able to connect to my Pioneer head unit and update the firmware. Besides that, don't see much use for the app, but good enough for what it is.

Thank you for using PxLink.
We will continue to strive to improve usability in areas other than the firmware update function.

Iffy to get connection. During setup says to connect the unit to WiFi. While I briefly got it to work, the app should explain what that means and how to do it. My radio doesn't do that. The legal agreements are excessive. I shouldn't need to hire a lawer to change the wallpaper on my radio.

The Wi-Fi connection is required for communication between the app and the receiver. Also, the legal check is necessary to comply with the laws and regulations of each country. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
