its a good app on wifi. however i have noticed that it has poor reception when using mobile data. multiple users have told me i sound like i am either in a hallway, cutting out, or under water when on a mobile data signal. please work on this. the whole point of me even having this software was so i wouldn't miss important calls when i am out of the office. i have the latest version installed.

Update 9/1/2020 The app has improved, less connection issues, but I do notice the status indicator is not always correct. i.e. it may show I'm on a call when I'm free. Not always easy to start meetings with screen sharing, and if you are already on call with someone via the mobile app and want to share your screen on the laptop, the call disconnects. Original: We use the desktop version at work, that's the only reason I'm downloading the app. It doesn't work properly most of the time.

What happened??? This used to work really simply and was extremely easy to use. The update makes it complicated and unusable. I can no longer dial out directly through the app, but instead have to list a number I want it to ring first and then connect to the van in trying to place. I'm logged in on my mobile, but it makes me add my mobile each time I log in and doesn't save it. Atrocious! It also tries to call from my physical desk phone when I'm using the MOBILE app! Developer's response is BS

With the latest update we affected login on devices without a trusted web browser and in certain cases, the user is redirected to the web version of 8x8 Work. To resolve this issue please install one of the supported browsers: https://support.8x8.com/business-phone/voice/work-mobile/Web_Browser_Needed_to_Log_In_to_8x8_Work_for_Mobile_on_Android.
