Recently discovered and downloaded the Bower app, thought it was a great idea overall until the time when I wanted to redeem and wanted my bank account. I really don't feel comfortable disclosing my bank account information if I had one. I hope you think about putting PayPal or gift cards as options for payment, otherwise I would have to uninstall it unfortunately., and that would be disappointing, because I like the app.

Hi Didi. Thanks for your feedback! We use Trustly for safer payments, authorized by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. No registration is needed, and we don't store bank account info. More details: https://help.getbower.com/en/articles/5075281-withdraw-cash. Plus, we're working on adding more coupons as well. 🌟

To be honest, I don't see the point in this app at all. I've wasted hours on it, scanning packaging that I'm recycling. In the summer there was a promotion for 50p per paper cup that you recycled, but then it didn't register my drop off, so I didn't get my money. Since then, I've spent hours scanning in and dropping off, but you get nothing for it, so I don't see the point. Total waste of time.

Used to be a worthwhile app, but they changed the format and then it just wasn't worth the effort. I still recycle the same as ever, just don't bother scanning anymore. With the missions, they don't recognise frequently scanned items in the plastic, metal and cardboard categories, so completing the missions becomes impossible. Don't waste your energy!
