All-Trails shows it as 6.4 miles out and back, but I did twice that. It's very easy other than the part through the slot. It can be climbed down with caution, and I managed it. I am short and would have had to pile up rocks to get back up. I am 5ft tall and was alone. The slot was fun. Fortunately, there is a way over the top for those unable to make it in either direction. I read an account online from one man who apparently jumped into one of the pools thinking it was filled with sand, but it turned out to be mud, and he went up to his waist. He said the hike was dangerous and he is correct, all slots are dangerous, but he called the BLM or Park service irresponsible for handing a map out to a dangerous hike. Please keep in mind, that we are responsible for our behavior on the trail, not the BLM or whoever. Do not jump into slick rock holes, they are called keeper holes for a reason, and this canyon, as with all canyons, they change after every flash flood. If in doubt, go around. The rest of the trail is pretty much an easy walk in a wash.
