Es increíblemente sencillo y puede ser de emisiones cero, funcionando con calor residual para salvar el mundo. El aire se calienta aquí, en la fuente de calor. Al calentarse, se expande, pero como el pistón de este cilindro está suelto, el aire simplemente lo rodea y se mueve por el conducto entre los dos cilindros, donde se encuentra con el pistón, que está ajustado.
