Las Vegas Hotel and Casino Review of the Linq Hotel and Casino , King Deluxe Room , Non-Smoking in District 3. I did a 2 night staycation since I had 2 free nights through Caesar's Reward Program. I picked the Linq since it was close to Virgil's Bbq in the Linq Promenade and I've heard good things about them and wanted to give them a try. I've tried pretty much every barbeque restaurant in Las Vegas. I grew up in South Carolina eating whole hog bar-b-que , especially pulled pork with the vinegar based sauce is the way to go there. I've also lived in Texas and had lots of Texas barbecue which is known for their brisket. I know , I'm getting off the subject of the room. I'm a foodie and also I'm an Elite Yelp Reviewer. The room was smaller than where I work , but of course I work at the Bellagio , so it's a 5 Diamond Hotel with lots of suites and different sizes and levels of rooms. The Linq also has some small suites and different rooms to include ones by the pool and one that has bunk beds if you can believe that. The pool area is very small and not deep at all. They have games set up to play and of course cabanas to rent if you so desire. There is a bar by the pool to get overpriced drinks. They also have a DJ booth , but when I was there they weren't having any special events or pool parties. The Linq has 2,256 rooms in total. It used to be called Imperial Palace years ago. This is definitely a budget hotel , but of course it does have a hefty Resort Fee which is almost as much as the Bellagio and with little amenities. The casino floor is pretty up to date compared to other casinos on the Strip like the Flamingo. The Flamingo has a fantastic pool area though. They also have a walking garden with live flamingos and waterfall features. They even have an outdoor chapel if you want to get married there. I hope you enjoyed the video. I wasn't too happy with the way this one came out. I wish I would have put in more time with this one and been more motivated like I have been in the past. Thanks for watching.
