Today we're exploring the Circus Circus casino in Las Vegas. It's the most kid-friendly hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, and we're starting inside the Adventuredome, an indoor amusement park that's got rides for both kids and kids at heart. From an aerial view, the Adventuredome is a pink glass covered structure near the rear of the property, and inside it, we soon come upon the Canyon Blaster roller coaster. The entrance to El Loco, a crazy turning roller coaster with just 4 people per train, is just a short walk away after that. Arcade games, a birthday party room, and rows of air hockey tables give way to kiddie rides and the Lil' Sprinter outdoor race track. Back inside, a train passes us as it drives around the Adventuredome, and we get a closer look at a roller coaster zooming overhead. We continue past the carousel, the Inverter ride (where people hang upside down), and the spinning/sliding Disk'o. We take a look at the snack bar, get a better view of the El Loco roller coaster in action, and pass the bumper cars and another carnival game area. Exiting the Adventuredome, we stroll past storefronts and soon spot Spongebob's Crazy Carnival Ride before moving into a back, mostly empty section of the casino. A long, broken moving walkway once transported people to the pool area, but now walking's on one's own power is required. We continue outside to see Circus Circus Manor, a budget-friendly motel style complex just off the main property, then take a look at multiple water slides and the swimming pool. Heading back in towards the casino area, we pass the storefronts on the upper level again then take the escalator down to the actual casino floor. From there, we walk past the food court area (with restaurants like Einstein Bros. Bagels, Popeyes, Pick Up Stix, and Burger King), peruse the Big Top Eats snack bar, and then take a look at the practically empty buffet. The walkway into the casino takes us past yet more shops and then into the casino floor. Next, we head up to the second floor Circus Circus Midway where we walk through carnival games and arcade areas. Through the magic of some time-shifting, we watch a man do a balancing act on the main circus performance stage then see some trapeze artists do their stunts up high. After a final walk through yet more carnival and arcade games, we head back downstairs to the casino level. After taking a quick look at some of the slot machines and the tournament slot area, we exit Circus Circus and move next door into Slots A Fun for a brief look at the small casino (which still has slot machines that use coins).
