Bienvenidos a Explorando con Cindy. Hoy estamos en el 'Hotel y Casino New York New York' en Las Vegas en el estado de Nevada. Te mostraremos este increíble hotel y la montaña rusa The Big Apple. Muchas personas piensan que Las Vegas es solo una ciudad solo para adultos, de juegos tragamonedas y de azar con vida nocturna, clubes y espectáculos para adultos durante todo el día, pero Las Vegas es más que eso. Nuestra sobrina se divirtió mucho y le encantó Las Vegas, fue la primera vez que visitó la ciudad y se sorprendió con las luces, las tiendas iluminadas, los casinos y los espectáculos. Cuando llegamos al aeropuerto y vimos las máquinas de tragamonedas dentro de la terminal, se quedó boquiabierta y no lo podía creer. Fue muy divertido verla tan emocionada dentro de un aeropuerto. Nos hospedamos en el hotel y casino Excalibur el fin de semana del Día de la Madre y acabamos de hacer un video de este hotel con el espectáculo 'El Torneo de Reyes' o llamado en inglés "Tournament of Kings", así que no olvides ver nuestro video. El Hotel y Casino New York New York está ubicado en el lado sur del boulevard de Las Vegas frente al Hotel y Casino MGM. Este hotel también es operado por MGM, al igual que el Hotel y Casino Excalibur en el que nos hospedamos. Este hotel está diseñado e inspirado en la ciudad de Nueva York, con una arquitectura neoyorquina que verás por todo el hotel, tanto por dentro como por fuera. Este diseño arquitectónico presenta réplicas reducidas de numerosos puntos de referencia de la ciudad, como el rascacielos Empire State de 47 pisos y la Estatua de la Libertad. También verás una réplica reducida del puente de Brooklyn justo afuera del hotel. Otros edificios representados en el horizonte del hotel incluyen el edificio Chrysler, el edificio de La Municipal de Manhattan y el Hotel New Yorker y el Edificio Century. También verás algunos edificios más antiguos como el Edificio CBS, 55 Water Street, el Edificio Segrand y el Edificio 550 Madison Avenue. El hotel también cuenta con una montaña rusa la gran manzana (The Big Apple coaster) que recorre la torre del hotel por dentro y por fuera. Este hotel tiene alrededor de 2000 habitaciones. Este hotel abrió sus puertas el 3 de enero de 1997. Dentro del casino, verás múltiples áreas que se asemejan a la ciudad de Nueva York, incluyendo Broadway, Central Park, Time Square y Wall Street. El área central del piso del casino lo llamaron el Central Park y si miras de cerca, cuenta con lámparas, árboles artificiales y una hermosa fachada que representa el edificio de la Bolsa de Valores del Wall Street de Nueva York. En cuanto al entretenimiento, encontrarás la montaña rusa la gran manzana, una montaña rusa que va a más de 108 kph y es la primera montaña rusa del mundo que presenta una maniobra de giro y caída de 180 grados y una caída de 62 metros que brinda más de 1.4 millones de pasajeros.
