Walked to this palace in the pouring rain from Amalienborg. Quickly through the beautiful park (which I think is great with dry weather) jumping over the puddles to get to the castle. As a result, no images of the Castle on the outside. The Rosenborg Slot which was built (1606) as a summer residence in Dutch Renaissance style, just like the Børsen by Hans van Steenwinckel the Younger. Inside it is an explosion of splendor on and in each other but very dark. No spot has been missed. Walls and ceilings. Almost everything is edited or painted. There is so much to see but after 2 floors (17 rooms) I had to go back to the cruise ship. Anyway, quickly up the stairs to the 3rd. Oh my, the great hall, what an impressive sight to see. I still took it with me, but I didn't have time for the jewelry anymore. In de stromende regen van Amalienborg naar dit paleis gelopen. Gauw door het mooie park (wat denk ik met droog weer geweldig is) heen springend over de plassen om in het kasteel te komen. Hierdoor geen beelden van het Kasteel aan de buitenkant. Het Rosenborg Slot wat gebouwd(1606) is als zomerverblijf in Hollandse Renaissancestijl net als de Børsen door Hans van Steenwinckel de Jonge. Van binnen is het een explosie van pracht en praal over op en in elkaar maar wel erg donker. Men heeft geen plekje overgeslagen. Muren en plafonds. Bijna alles is bewerkt of geschilderd. Er is zoveel te zien maar na 2 etages (17 kamers) moest ik toch terug naar het cruiseschip. Toch maar even gauw de trap op naar de 3e. Ojee de grote hal wat indrukwekkend om te zien. Toch nog even meegenomen maar voor de juwelen had ik geen tijd meer. (2014)
