Hotel Casino Rio Las Vegas
We did a walkthrough of Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. Its located on the Vegas Strip that opened in 1973. Before the MGM was built; the Bonanza Casino, and the Three Coins Motel sat in its place. On November 21, 1980 a fire hit the MGM and 87 people died in the blaze. After 8 months the hotel was rebuilt. Over $223,000,000 was paid out to the victims or their families following one of the largest lawsuits of that time. Bally's Gaming purchased the MGM in 1986 for 592 million. The casino is currently owned and operated by Caesars entertainment. Want more information about the MGM Fire? https://youtu.be/4o8dRs1R6O0 We were lucky that my sister in law wanted to visit Wahlberger over her recent trip. We discovered the Grand Bazaar shops at Bally's...which is a fun spot with shopping, bars and food. Support our channel, BUY A MUG! https://goo.gl/Jx8zXC #LiLV - Living in Las Vegas Youtube Channel

In today’s episode of James and Paul Try it All, we’re bringing you a BRUTALLY HONEST review of our recent experience at The Luxor Las Vegas and the SHOCKING TWIST of our last minute and late night departure when we just couldn’t stand it any longer. While this video may be a departure from our normal in depth Las Vegas hotel reviews, don’t worry! We still have plenty to show you! Join us for lunch at Diablo’s Cantina as we chow down on Mexican cuisine so mild that it’s safe for babies with upset stomachs, a peek at the fun and interactive activities at Play Playground, and a full room tour of our Tower Premier King Room that instead drove us to find shelter at The Horseshoe. While we originally had intended to stay at The Luxor for 4 full nights, before we could even make it through the first, we instead found ourselves frantically packing our bags and heading to The Horseshoe in order to escape. Considering our love of MGM properties, what caused this sudden and dramatic change in plans? If we survived staying at Excalibur, what could have possibly been so bad about The Luxor? Were we haunted by the spirits that supposedly reside there, or did we fall victim to a curse of Egyptian Gods and Spirits angered by the blasphemous depiction of their culture? Or could it simply be a case of another Las Vegas hotel on the strip that’s long overdue for an upgrade? Be sure and stay tuned to the end of the video to find out!
