Su amante quiso sacarle la verdad violentamente, y al no conseguirlo, sacó un cuchillo de su pantalón y degolló a la bailarina. Actualmente se habla de un fantasma que protege su tesoro, pues al pie de “El Minarete”, de noche se puede ver a una mujer bailando sin tocar el piso, algunos dicen que es bella, otros que no pueden ver su rostro y los menos afortunados, dicen que ella no tiene cabeza.
