Coming from Weed, California, we cross the mountains into Reno, Nevada. For two nights we stay at the Grand Sierra Resort RV Park. Here we enjoy the pool, restaurants and entertainment. We check out downtown Reno, driving down the strip and stopping at a couple of breweries. Lead Dog Brewing has a great location and large facility that has indoor and outdoor seating. Great beers; we had a peanut butter stout and a Mai Tai sour. Right down the road is The Depot. It's an old train depot from over 100 years ago showcases the rich history and also has great food and beers. In the men's room they still have the old safe from days past. The next morning we head out to the pool and enjoy the sun and a few Coronas. The previous day was too packed and we decided to get there earlier, when they opened up. It worked out as we got some lounge chairs towards the back in the adult area. We enjoyed the time we spent at the RV park and would do it again traveling through with our RV.
