We received a 2 night comp offer from our play on our last visit to the MGM Grand, and while we have heard many mixed reviews about this property, including some people referring to it as "The Dirty Castle", we just had to book a stay and find out for ourselves. So join us as we spend 48 hours at this iconic Las Vegas Strip property. Throughout our stay we provide an overview of the Casino and gaming floor, sample a variety of foods at The Excalibur Buffet, show you some of the dining options offered in this castle. We also provide a look at the Excalibur Fun Dungeon, to find out if this "Dungeon" is a perfect activity for families in Las Vegas. We also provide a tour of our Royal Tower King Room to see if the offerings inside are fit for a King on a budget. To finish off night one, we see their signature show Tournament of Kings, providing our honest feedback and thoughts on whether this dinner show is worth your money or time. As well as our impressions on the food. The following day we visit the Excalibur pool and take a dip, then finish off with a dinner at the place you go when everywhere else on the Las Vegas Strip is booked, Dick's Last Resort Las Vegas. This restaurant is known for its rude service, tacky decor, and trashy atmosphere. Suffice to say, this restaurant is rude, lewd, and crude... You have been warned. Overall, Red Rock Resort Hotel is the best in Las Vegas. This is my family’s favorite property and the one we visit most frequently to play, stay and enjoy. Rooms are large and modern with luxury amenities and more affordable than it’s higher end counterparts on the boulevard. There is child care, family friendly amenities and lots for kids and teens to do. You’re steps away from Downtown Summerlin, world class dining, nightlife, live entertainment and shopping. The spa, pool and recreation spaces are all sparkling clean, reasonably priced and beautiful.
