Today we're exploring the Mandalay Bay casino in Las Vegas, starting in the Enchanted Garden area near Las Vegas Boulevard and making our way through the resort, including the Four Seasons Hotel, W Hotel, and convention area. We begin in the formerly majestic area called the "Enchanted Garden" that's now a shell of its former self. The rocks are stained from where water once flowed, but now it's sand and dirt with a few plants scattered around. We ponder and examine what once was then proceed on a walkway that leads us toward the valet area and hotel entrance. After heading inside, we pass signs for the spa and go down the outdoor walkway to Mandalay Bay Beach, the resort's sprawling pool complex. Along the way, we see decorative fountains shaped like elephants with trunks that spew water, and before heading upstairs, we even spot a robot quietly cleaning the hotel floor. On the main level, we check out the impressive taxi and valet drop off area, and we then pass through the main Mandalay Bay hotel lobby. At the far end of the lobby, we take a hallway over to the Four Seasons Hotel, a quieter, more upscale section of the property. Inside the Four Seasons, we head down the conference room hallways then proceed down a spiral stairway to the hotel area and restaurants like Bourbon Steak and Veranda. After checking out the more exclusive Four Seasons area, we loop back towards Mandalay Bay, passing Hazel Coffee & Cocktails before walking the casino floor. Our walkthrough continues past House of Blues, the sportsbook, and the entrance to the Michael Jackson ONE theater. We see the elevator to Skyfall Lounge, a panoramic rooftop bar, and explore the W Hotel lobby area. We see the W's closed restaurant space, the lobby with its suspended rock sculpture, and a separate valet area for the W hotel. Back in the main Mandalay Bay resort, we walk through more of the casino floor and take a look at new developments like the Bob Marley Hope Road exhibit that's replacing the buffet space, and Orla Mediterranean restaurant, a newer spot by Michael Mina. From there, we enter the Mandalay Bay convention center area, briefly view the swimming pools through the large windows, and walk the hallway all the way past the Shark Reef exhibit. We then loop through the convention area food court before heading back to the casino floor to wrap up our visit.
