In this video I show you how to check how many memory slots your computer or laptop has. I show you how to do this through the task manager and performance tab, and also through the command prompt in MS-DOS. Something to keep in mind is this will tell you how many memory slots are available on the motherboard of your laptop or computer, but that doesn't mean that is actually how many memory sockets are installed on the motherboard. Small form factor builders are usually restricted to a single PCIe slot on their motherboards. If you have a need for a sound card, network card, or capture card, you're out of luck. Or are you? If you're willing to sacrifice an M.2 slot in your board, you might be able to convert it to a normal PCIe 4X slot. You'll need a case that can accommodate the adapter and has space for the expansion card. The NR200P is very good for this, since it actually has 5 rear expansion ports that normally wouldn't be used at the same time. I'm pretty sure this also requires the M.2 slot to support NVMe. A SATA only slot may not work. I haven't tested or checked. I wasn't able to do this any way but putting the GPU in the vertical orientation and using the front M.2 slot; not the rear.
