My family and I spent a weekend at the Riviera Hotel and Casino during the summer days. We used three rooms due to the fact that there were three families. All of the rooms that we requested were the classic rooms but I feel like they gave us two classic and one deluxe. They were of good space but one of the rooms was almost one and a half size than the other two. We were placed in different parts of the hotel because of the way that we did the reservation. Two of the rooms were connected with each other at the end of the hall and that was fine because there was no one walking in front of the rooms. We didn't like that the people in the room that was far from us could see us through the window and that we could see what others were doing in their rooms across from us. I feel that the rooms should have tinted windows for more privacy. When we made the reservations we were not told that the pool would be closed and we were disappointed to learn that it was. We really liked that it was easy to get to the strip by root but we didn't like that we had to pass all the people that were playing in the casino to get to the elevator of our tower. The food court was our favorite because it had something quick that we could grab and take to the room to eat. Also we liked that we were able to get internet in our room because it helped us stay connected with the people at home. We had kids and we liked that there was a place that they could go play while the other people played the slots and table games. Over all we liked the hotel and we would visit again. Rates vary depending on the day of the week and the season.
