Your score drops instantly and it takes forever to improve when you have days, weeks or months of 5 star drives..... SMH. Cornering and acceleration on scores are hard to have 5 all of the time unless you are driving on a straight road with no-one else on the road. I like to see the developers get out an drive in any Metropolitan area and see what their rating would be ...

This app has gotten better at not missing my drives, but the cornering algorithm leaves a lot to be desired. If one were to go around corners on some of the streets in my city as slow as the algorithm requires, I would be creating hazards and possibly getting rear-ended. A driver would have to be 90 years old puttering along to not upset the algorithm

This app keeps me focused on my driving including, braking, accelerating, speeding, cornering and phone use. It doesn't know the difference between braking for a stop sign and braking hard to avoid a mishap as well as accelerating from a stop at a stop sign and just randomly accelerating but otherwise, I like it

Hi Jeanne! Thanks much for your review!
You're right in that SafeTrip can't tell if you've hit the brakes hard to avoid an accident (vs. heavy braking because you're driving too aggressively and tailgating). But if you feel as though you've been scored unfairly, you can always relabel your trip and it won't impact your overall score.
