Reviews seem to be mostly good but I can't say I had the same experience. I created the account with no issue but got stuck in an endless loop of signing in. Enter email, enter password, enter confirmation code sent via text, spin, spin, spin, spin, enter email, enter password, enter confirmation code, spin, spin, spin, spin. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice too just to end up getting the same result. Maybe it's a great thing, maybe it's not. I for one can't say one way or the other.

This app is the real deal. And no, I'm not a bot or paid to write a review. This is the best split pay rent app out there. Others like Flex Pay have you pay ridiculous ongoing subscription fees and you're on automatic withdrawal. With this, you're supplied a routing / checking account for your portal associated with your unit, which then triggers Rent App to deduct the first half with a small fee. The 2nd half is deducted two weeks later. Dates can be flexible. And the CS and Mona are stellar.

Payments take forever to process, typically 3 to 5 business days if not 1 to 3. But lately for me has been up to 5 to 7 business days. Weekends they do not process anything. However, Landlords are uncertain of when they receive payment. I think that its a good app to help you catch up but really not a great app for speedy payments especially if landlord does not like to wait. What I think is ridiculous, is that they charge a fee but then they dont give you the option to make SPEEDY PAYMENTS.

Hi Elijah - We understand the payment speed is frustrating. ACH processing currently takes 3-5 business days, which is standard for bank transfers. However, we're actively working on 1-2 business day settlement speeds for renters who pay landlord direct. Renters who pay through the portal see their payments appear instantly.
