Full Video Available at https://youtu.be/FOtyhO3h8Wc?feature=shared Here's an "under 3 minutes" version! ----- Today we take a stroll through the famous pyramid shaped casino and hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, the Luxor. Entering from The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, we gaze upwards to see that the pyramid has no center support. Each of the walls leans into the others. After heading through the food court, I point out some peculiarities of the Luxor, like an escalator that leads to a small floor about 10 feet wide, which then requires you to walk back up six stairs. Why wouldn't the upper floor just extend to the bottom of the escalator, making the escalator slightly shorter instead of having that odd lower section and set of stairs? Watch the video to find out what I think is the reason. Walking past the Titanic exhibit, the Blue Man Group theater, and the hotel lobby, we hitch a ride on an "inclinator" (which is what the Luxor calls its elevators that travel at a 39-degree angle up the building's corners). Getting off at the 23rd floor, we walk around the perimeter and peer straight down into the central area where people gather about 200 feet below. If you're afraid of heights, you might want to skip the skip the part where we look over the rail. Back on the lower levels, we head past the hotel lobby and explore the casino floor where people are playing slot machines and games like roulette and blackjack.
